The room felt clean with decent decor that didn’t scream ‘budget’. The heated pool area could provide a solid escape for families looking to unwind, given the proximity to main attractions and eateries.
Our check-in process dragged on, leaving us waiting while the cleaning crews scrambled to finish. Room maintenance could use some attention. the air conditioning rattled all night, making it hard to get a proper night's sleep. Also, the noise from neighboring rooms definitely disrupted our relaxation, particularly with kids running around and the thin walls amplifying it all. Breakfast lacked variety—arriving too late meant we dodged the decent options and were left with scraps. Overall, it might fit a last-minute trip, but not for a well-planned vacation.

The pool area could have been better maintained.

My stay was highlighted by the incredibly friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our visit special, and the central location made it so easy to stroll through nearby parks and explore local landmarks like the Susan B. Anthony House and Genesee Valley Park, which were just a short drive away. perfect for those who love walking and sightseeing on weekends.

During my stay with my family, I found the staff to be very friendly and responsive, which made our experience pleasant. However, the heating system in our room was quite loud and disrupted our sleep. The room was clean and adequately prepared, but the pool area had some maintenance issues that need addressing. Great for families needing a comfortable stay.

This place suits me perfectly with great internet access, free parking, and a helpful 24-hour reception. I remember losing my car keys during my first stay and the staff were incredibly supportive, just like when they baked cookies for another guest! I’m definitely coming back for another trip.

We arrived late after a long drive around 6:30 pm & the staff was nice enough to help us with an extra crib for our little one plus they even moved us when we asked about noise from the hallway, that really showed they cared you know
Though it wasn’t exactly cheap but for what we got it was still fine

I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express recently while visiting Rochester. The location was perfect, close to the attractions I wanted to see. The friendliness of the staff really stood out. They greeted me warmly at check-in and offered helpful tips about the area. The room was decent in size, providing enough space for me to move around comfortably. However, the cleanliness was a major letdown. I found hair in the shower and sink, which made me question the housekeeping standards. The air conditioning unit was especially loud and hard to control, which disrupted my sleep. Another downside was the noise from the hall. I could hear conversations clearly outside. Breakfast was just okay — standard options without anything special. I appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi, but the overall maintenance of the facility left a lot to be desired. I had expected more from this location, especially given past experiences with other Holiday Inn properties.

missingWrote a review on May 20indoor swimming poolconvenient shuttle servicepleasant atmosphere
Comfortable room, pleasant atmosphere, with a nice indoor swimming pool perfect for relaxing after exploring the area, and a convenient free shuttle service to the airport and nearby attractions.
The room was subpar, very small, the remote to the television did not work, the bathroom door did not lock, and the heating / air unit went hot and cold without us manipulating the thermometer.
